myStrength Furthers Expertise In Data Science And Health Economics
DENVER – myStrength, Inc., an innovative leader in digital behavioral healthcare, is pleased to announce two new hires, deepening the company’s expertise in data science and health economics.
Krista Schladweiler, PhD – VP, Health Economics & Outcomes
Dr. Schladweiler brings nearly a decade of clinical and technical experience in health outcomes, comparative effectiveness research and commercial insights. Dr. Schladweiler comes to myStrength from AstraZeneca where she led all commercialization insights across data sourcing, market research, advanced predictive statistical analytics and population-based forecasting for respiratory biologics.
Dr. Schladweiler has made numerous podium presentations, as well as published in leading journals including The Clinical Journal of Pain, Addictive Behaviors, Psychological Services, Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, Health Care Financing Review and Neuropsychopharmacology. Schladweiler has published and presented on a variety of topics including mental illness, drug dependence, prescription pain reliever use, chronic conditions and Medicare.
Dr. Schladweiler holds a PhD in Drug Dependence Epidemiology, Department of Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University. Her dissertation was on the Predictors and Consequences of Substance Abuse among Adults with Severe Mental Illness. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University with an interdisciplinary major in Foundations of Behavior with a minor in Public Health and Health Services.
Stephanie Rivera, Principal Data Scientist
Stephanie joins myStrength from Booz Allen Hamilton. As Lead Cloud Data Scientist, Stephanie designed and established data science platforms, including predictive modeling, data analysis, machine learning and analytic development for multiple Fortune 500 clients and Government agencies. She received the excellence award for Data Science Portfolio – Innovation Category. Prior to Booz Allen, Stephanie worked for the Department of Defense where she implemented machine learning algorithms to support behavioral/intelligence analysis. Additionally, Stephanie is an author of the “Field Guide to Data Science”, which the DoD used to create the official definition and description of Data Science.
Stephanie holds a Master’s of Science in Mathematics from East Tennessee State University, a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics from Colorado State University and was a graduate fellow in Machine Learning Research, Computer Engineering at the University of Tennessee.
